ADOLESCENT CLASSES

Big Girl Now

10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 18, Nov. 6
Suite 310 of Medical Office Building One, 3623 J. Dewey Gray Circle, on the Doctors Hospital Campus.

This class is for girls ages 9-12, along with their mothers or mentors. The changes and challenges associated with puberty and adolescence are discussed. This interactive class helps girls understand the physical and emotional issues they may experience during these sometimes trying years.

Safe Sitter Class

This is a medically accurate program that teaches young people ages 11-13 safe and nurturing child care techniques, behavior management and appropriate responses to medical emergencies.

Flu Season Update

Dr. Joseph Hillson will discuss Senior Health and the Flu Shot at this h2u Lunch and Learn. Dr. Hillson will present information relevant to our members and will discuss the importance of the flu shot. There is no cost to attend but participants must RSVP to 706-651-6716 by Sept. 20.

Men who get a PSA in September, prostate cancer awareness month, at Doctors Hospital will get a coupon for a free Chick-fil-A sandwich. The coupon is good at Chick-fil-A restaurants in Aiken, Augusta, and North Augusta.

Breast Cancer Update

Fight Cancer Spirit Night

5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12
Chick-fil-A restaurants in Aiken, Augusta and North Augusta

Doctors Hospital and the Chick-fil-A restaurants in Augusta, North Augusta and Aiken are teaming up to raise money for the fight against cancer. Mention “Spirit Night” when you place your order and a percentage of the sales order will go to the American Cancer Society.
