  • Current forecasts show Hurricane Irma to be a large storm system that will bring some rain and wind to our area on Monday, September 11.
  • Doctors Hospital is open and all services are operating normally.
  • Doctors Hospital physician practices will be closed open at 10 am on Tuesday, September 12. This includes Augusta Health Specialists, Augusta Primary Care and Georgia Center for Pelvic Health.

  • Augusta has a number of local organizations actively helping to support the community through the storm. Additional details can be found here:
  • The American Red Cross also has a hurricane app that you can download for free onto your phone or mobile device. The app is called “Hurricane by American Red Cross,” and provides users with shelter locations, severe weather alerts and storm tips.
