Doctors Hospital Lights for Lydia display Rescheduled

Due to the inclement weather that has been forecast for the weekend, Doctors Hospital is rescheduling the lighting of the luminaries around the front of the hospital in observance of the 4th Annual Lights for Lydia. The event has been rescheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2009.

Celebrating Independence Day with fireworks is a tradition for many, but sometimes those celebrations lead to injuries. According to the National Fire Protection Association, in 2007, U.S. hospital emergency rooms treated an estimated 9,800 people for fireworks related injuries.
