Every year the number of mothers who choose to breastfeed their babies increases. Research continues to prove the benefits of breastfeeding for the mother and baby, as well as the risks of formula feeding.

While breastfeeding may be frustrating at first for some mothers, it becomes a healthy bonding experience for all moms and their babies. At Doctors Hospital we are committed to helping each mother get the best start possible. All of our nursing staff is trained in breastfeeding support and we have two International Board Certified Lactation Consultants along with nine Certified Lactation Counselors.
