Annette Repko, RNC, BSN - Director of the Clyde A. Burgamy, M.D. Center for Women
Annette Repko has served as the Director of the Clyde A. Burgamy, M.D. Center for Women since 2005.  Her passion about the experience of childbirth for women and their families helped begin the Family-Centered Maternity Care program which is currently in place at Doctors Hospital.  Annette oversees the day-to-day operations of the Women’s Center as well as the Cradle Club classes and the facilities Level II Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit.   


Sally Wood, BSN, RN, IBCLC, LCCE – Lactation Consultant for the Clyde A. Burgamy, M.D. Center for Women
Sally Wood has been a registered nurse for 17 years and is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and serves as co-chair for the CSRA Breastfeeding Coalition.  She is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and coordinates the prenatal education classes, The Cradle Club, at Doctors Hospital.  Sally’s passion is, and always has been, caring for mothers and their newborn babies, helping them to get the best start possible in life.


Deneen Griffin, RN, BSN, CCE – Clinical Manager for the Clyde A. Burgamy, M.D. Center for Women
Deneen Griffin has worked in women’s services for 23 years, serving as the Clinical Manager for the Center for Women, the Nurse Advisory Leader and CPN System Manager for Doctors Hospital.  Deneen is a strong advocate of women’s health, serving on the Chair for the Augusta Chapter of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN).  In addition, she is the Co-Chair for the Augusta March of Babies, March of Dimes Campaign. Deneen is a certified childbirth instructor teaching courses for Cradle Club alongside her husband, Bruce, who leads “The Daddy Class.”   


Cindi Overlie – Program Assistant & Bereavement Support for the Clyde A. Burgamy, M.D. Center for Women
Cindi Overlie has a special role at the Center for Women certified in bereavement services at Doctors Hospital since 2006.  She became interested in this service to assist patients and their families, as well as the employees who cares for the patients, when faced with the death of a baby.  She is the voice for those who feel they can’t get through one of the most tragic times in their life.  Cindi believes that medicine can offer lots of wonderful things to our patients but sometimes the best thing we can offer is hope.
