One Room Means Staying Together…
At the Clyde A. Burgamy, M.D. Center for Women, you will enjoy the convenience of receiving family–centered maternity care in one room throughout your hospital stay – during labor, childbirth, throughout recovery and postpartum. Because we believe that mothers, babies and families belong together, we want you to stay together after childbirth, without moving from room to room. Our Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) rooms are designed with a home-like décor, giving your family the comfort and privacy that you need. A comfortable sofa chair is available for mom’s support person. With the exception of medical emergencies, you and your baby can remain together from birth until discharge, if you desire.
