The daVinci trained gynecologists at Doctors Hospital of Augusta have extensive collective experience with daVinci surgery. Combined, Drs. Thomae and Jordan have utilized the technology in more than 300 gynecological procedures. These procedures include hysterectomies, myomectomies, and endometriosis cases. Both physicians perform complex pathology cases such as prior surgeries and large uteri.
Dr. Thomae began practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Augusta area in 1990 and was also one of the original founders of Augusta Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialists, LLC in 2002. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Dr. Thomae received his B.S. from George Mason University, his medical degree from The Virginia Commonwealth University and completed his residency from the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Thomae was honored in 2008 and 2009 as a Patient’s Choice physician, an honor bestowed on less than 5% of the nation’s active physicians.
Dr. Jordan joined Augusta Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialists, LLC in 2002 having graduated from The University of Puerto Rico and The University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and completing his residency at The University Hospital in Puerto Rico. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
